Red Clover Seeds

Red clover (Trifolium pratense) is the single most important plant for Irish bumblebees. Its deep, tubular flowers are perfectly shaped for long-tongued bumblebee species, providing rich nectar and pollen from May through to September.

Beyond its pollinator value, red clover is a nitrogen fixer — it captures nitrogen from the air and stores it in root nodules, enriching the soil naturally. This makes it valuable as a green manure, a cover crop, and a lawn alternative.
