Wild marjoram (Origanum vulgare) — also known as wild oregano — is consistently rated as one of the top nectar-producing plants in scientific studies. When in flower (July–September), a single plant can be covered with dozens of feeding bees and butterflies simultaneously.
As a bonus, it's edible — the same plant used in Italian cooking. A hardy perennial that thrives in well-drained soil.
