Ireland's bogs and wetlands support unique pollinator communities that standard wildflower mixes can't serve. This specialist blend contains native species adapted to wet, acidic, peaty conditions — the plants that actually grow in bog margins, damp field corners, pond edges, and rushy pasture.
Do not drain or lime the soil. These species need it exactly as it is. Light surface disturbance is enough preparation — a rake or light harrow through the top layer. Sow in autumn when the ground is naturally moist.
This mix supports bog-specialist pollinators including the marsh fritillary butterfly (Ireland's only legally protected butterfly species), whose caterpillars depend on devil's-bit scabious.

Aussaatanleitung
For wet, acidic, peaty ground only. Do NOT drain or lime the soil. Lightly disturb the surface with a rake — no deep cultivation. Broadcast seed in autumn (September–October) when ground is naturally moist. Press gently. These species establish slowly — expect flowers from year 2.
