Sowing Instructions
For large areas, mechanical soil preparation is recommended — plough or rotavate, then harrow to a fine tilth. Allow the soil to settle for 2–3 weeks and remove any weed flushes before sowing. Mix seeds with dry sand at a 4:1 ratio for even distribution. Broadcast by hand or use a seed spreader calibrated for fine seed. Roll the area after sowing to ensure good seed-to-soil contact. Do not cover with soil. For very large areas, consider sowing in two passes at right angles for even coverage. First-year management: cut once in mid-summer if weed pressure is high. From year 2: single annual cut in late August/September, remove all cuttings.
